Teams 2011
(Preview)
I am trying to start a team. Again. May just be me. They haven't put it on site yet. When there is a team, must everyone ride together? As we all know, I finished the 2010 M200 last of those who finished. Chances are, though I fully intend to get a lighter bike or at least skinny tires, I won't last with the tea...

This ride was more than I could have ever asked for! An experience of a lifetime! I'm still living the high and seriously thinking about 2011. I would 100% do the ride, but am much more concerned about raising the funds. I'd have to end up asking a lot of the same people again and don't believe I would get th...

What's good and easy to roll up and put in the back of your bike shirt wen it stops raining. That is better than a garbage bag, but doesn't take a week's wages. Weather is not looking so goog right now for the weekend.

I am so scared.

In short, I barely trained. I rode my bike to work several times (30 km) but that was about it. I didn't think I was going to get to go on the ride but a friend of mine who has conquered cancer twice! donated a large amount of money to me which resulted in me getting to the ride. So. Now i'm freaking out. It...

So it looks like rain is a sure thing but it still looks like it will be warm. Not like you're going to stay dry on a 5 hour ride so I'm thinking a rain cover/jacket/whatever is pointless... right?
