If only you have faith

First I would say no one understands what it means to have cancer or have a loved one who suffers from this disease. My name is Pamela velafuert I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer 5 years ago and I thought my world was over. I went from one specialist to the other and nothing worked and then I decided to turn in for spiritual guidance. I actually was not a believer in spiritual healing and positive imaging. Yes you have heard of it. Well today I can tell you I am cancer free a SURVIVOR. Please do not let this ordeal take your loved ones from you. It is not wrong to try all options available. If you want to have this information please feel free to ask any question and I will respond.

Hi Pamela. I just read your post and wanted to say that I'm sorry you had to go through cancer and I'm glad you are a survivor
. I'm thankful for whatever took you along your journey and brought you to this point, I really am.

I just don't think it is fair for you to say that no-one understands what it is to have cancer or to have a loved one with cancer. I think a lot of us do. We all have our battles and our ways of coping and, whatever the means or the outcome, we are still here.
We do understand! we live it every day otherwise there would be NO people participating in this event....

I hope you keep believing and I hope your life is blessed every single day!

I started riding in 2008. I signed up 2 weeks after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Why ride? Two reasons, first to support her in her fight and second to support me in mine. I selfishly thought my life was over and had such a hard time seeing her suffer.

I went to every appointment, every treatment and was by her bed when she awoke after every surgery. The day before the ride last year I went down to the CNE to pick up my five year gold helment. That morning at the doctors office my darling most beautiful wife was declared cancer free!

We know what it's like to have cancer. If we didn't there wouldn't be a ride.

I hope you remain well and strong and take strenght from all your co-riders and their supporters. We all know what it means and you are not alone

Take care
