2013 Fundraising Plans - 100 item sale, 25 bucks each!


So this will be my third year, and it's hard to keep asking for money. So I decided to change it up. I've done pub nights the last to years, and had silent auction, raffle etc.

For 2013 I want to have the usual ride event party,  and instead of the auction, have the 100 item sale. Everything will be $25.

I am asking all my creative friends, to create something (or multiples) which I can include in my sale.

Myself, I will be crocheting 10 animal hats for toddlers (owls, lady bug etc).  I am also looking for original art work, home made jewellery, crafts, donated services (cleaning or yard work assistance for example)

Someone before mention calendars and I think this is a great idea, but I'm not the best photographer, though I may see if a friend can produce some calendars for me to include in my sale. 

I'm also thinking about doing a website to sell some of the items for people who will not be able to make it to the event

Great idea, we are doing an facebook online auction for 3 riders, thankfully we're almost at our 2500, but this is a great idea for next year
