Team Anemone - St. Catharines needs riders.

Hey guys, This is the Captain for Team Anemone, a team riding out of St. Catharines ON We need riders! :) there are currently 4 of us, we're hoping for 5-10 people. Also, the 3 other riders on my team need bikes! If you know anyone selling cheap road bikes (under $500) or even looking for their bike to go to a good home for free... please contact me. We'll be doing training rides in the spring (April). Also, I'm looking into getting us 3month free memberships at a local YMCA. I'll keep you posted. Riders must be from St.Catharines/Niagara region. We're riding in the "Niagara" route on June 9-10/2012 :D Thanks!

looks like a M for the lady... (not sure what frame size that converts to) but the gentlemen were both sized out at 56s.

How tall is your female team mate? I have a Trek Lexa road bike that is 148 cm frame ( I think have to check that, I am about 5 foot 4 inches and have clearance on the top tube etc), with full sized tires available for sale. I got it in Christmas 2010 and used it for one season. The reason I'm selling is the fit is not exact for me. This bike is made with trek's women specific design, but I don't think I have the idealized female geometry of longer legs shorter ams / torso. I actually have shorter legs and longer toso / arms so that I have not beeen able to get the exact comfort fit with the reach on this bike, even though I have re-adjusted the handlebars several times. They intially had the bars rotated up slightly in what they cal "H3" for a more upright riding position, but I leveled them back out and even turned them down slightly and have moved the saddle back etc and still not feeling the fit is great. I have thought about a performance hybrid but prefer the drop bars...

I'm selling a woman's Dash 3 - Medium for $450.

It's a hybrid (not a road bike) but still pretty good...

Let me know if you are interested: laura_pino@rogers.com
