p90X recovery drink is great and what I use after a day of riding. For before the ride use VEGA Sport acaiberry. its like a blast of nitro just before the ride, tried others nothing compares. plus trameal rub is good too after.
if you reach camp in time, hit up the massage tent for a rub-down.
Fatigued muscles require protein to stop the catabolism process. Whey protein drinks are IMHO the best way to quickly get a large dose of protein after prolonged exercise.
