Hey everyone, last year i got a drive to the ex, we came across lakeshore west bound and entered at the princess gates... this year i'll be coming from the airport, is there other enterances we can come into at? I know it's going to be busy any direction
Yes. The CNE has a western entrance off of the Lakeshore onto British Columbia and as you will recall last year the ride started heading west and turned onto Lake Shore on Ontario Drive. You can enter the CNE grounds on Ontario. Also you can enter from the North through the Duffrin street gates.
From the airport I would get off the Gardiner at Jameson, and then take Lakeshore to Britsh Columbia, enter the CNE and then get as close as you can before bailing. Second choice is stay on Lakeshore and have your driver take you into the Ontario Place parking lot, unload there and then cross Lakeshore either at the Light at Ontario or on the footbridge.
Princes' Gates are still under contruction/repair so I assume we will once again start heading west like last year.
Hey guys, if you going to enter from the west you will have to exit the Garniner at the Lakeshore since the exit at Jameson is closed due to long term construction. Also, you could exit at Spadina and then head west on the Lakeshore and enter the same way you did last year.
thank you so much, will consider the ontario parking, as long as it's not too much of a hike, (have 2 children coming to see us off), and then they are going ahead of us and cheering us at the first cheering station
