I'm hoping to organize some training rides in the Kingston area starting in late March (really, as soon as we can get onto the roads without the sand and salt on them). I'm a moderate speed rider (20-24 km/h average) and plan on riding at least three times a week (two weeknights after work and a longer ride on the weekends). The weeknight rides would be 20-30 km and the longer rides would start at 40 or 50 and get longer from there.
If you're interested in being part of the training in the spring, drop me a line at dumanoir@gmail.com and put "R2CC Training" in the subject line.
Until then, happy fundraising and training!

I know this is a little late, but I live in Kingston and have been riding every weekend. But this Spring I am in for what ever anyone wants to Ride. I have been going out Montreal Street cutting across to hwy 15 and back in town. I have a few routes I have been doing using that route. I was riding out hwy 2 towards Napanee, but riding in town is a bit riskier in traffic.
So let me know when your heading out and I am in. I also plan on attending a training ride in the spring in the GTA Area. Maybe we can take a few to one of those. I went to an orientation last weekend in Oshawa.
If anyone finds any Spin Classes or indoor options, I would not mind trying that as well.
