Training Rides Out of Waterdown ! Three times a week! All are welcome!

Hello fellow R2CC 2010 Riders,

I have a team of 19 riders who ride out of Bicycle Works in Waterdown.

Tuesday 6:30 pm

Thursday 6:30 pm

Saturday 11:00 am - varies depending on location and time.

If there are any riders who are training on there own and want to join up with other riders, feel free to connect with us. We support each other regardless of ability and speed.smile

Cheers

Good monrning.  How long are you training rides on Saturday?  I am in Hamilton next weekend - I actually live in Markham - looking after my grandchildren while their Mom is camping with the Girl Guides.  I'd love to get out with you assuming I'm not away from my grandchildren that long.  They are 11 & 14 so could be on their own for awhile.

Hey Herbie,

We plan our weekend rides depending on weather etc. Today we are doing the route from 8th Line in Oakville to the top of Wilson Hill in Ancaster. It is part of the actual Day 1 route.

So to answer your question I can not say for sure what we have planned as of yet however check in with me closer and I can tell you then for sure!

Cheers

Thanks for the invite.. I ride by myself so it would be nice to connect with some other cyclists before June 12th...   I'm not very fast (about 20 km)... if that's not fast enough, that's ok; just let me know...  I certainlydon't want to hold anyone back.

I'll try and meet you on Tuesday around 6;15 pm.

Catherine

I must have misunderstood because I went to Bicycle Works in Waterdown tonight and waited until 6:35 and no one showed.  I did some hill repeats.

Really sorry about that ! We decided to cycle from 1008 Safari Road. We will be doing the same this Thursday. Please feel free to join us! Great route. 20 klm is just fine! You will fit in no problem

Thanks for the invite but I'll pass on Safari Road ... it's just too inconvenient for me.  Have a good ride and hopefully we'll connect b4 June 12th.

Hi - about cycling this weekend, I've decided not to join you.  I figure by the time I load my bike & ride out to Waterdown, do the ride & then get back home, I would probably be gone to long.  I think I'd better stay closer to "home".   I have some cycling maps of Hamilton and I'm sure I'll find a route to try.  Thanks for the invite.   By the way, I love your team name.   Susan
