Anyone going to the orientation this Saturday up the Hamilton "mountain?" I'll be there for the ten o'clock orientation as i hope to actually learn something this one. and it's my mother's nursing home so i can pop in and spend ten or twenty minutes with her.
This just in: I PICK UP MY BIKE TODAY!!!!!!! Oh, yippee!! Cannondale F5 in black. Vetoed the red. i toddle into Pieriks for 9:30 a.m., pay the last installment, hand them bar ends to attach, tell them I'll be back for it after an 11 km hike with my cousin and her son, and pick it up. Oh, i'm one happy man right now. Yeah, despite my Alien 3 haircut.

Turns out the bike is a 2009. Turns out they didn't have my size frame there so I have to wait a week for it. But it is now PAID FOR and I have to figure out how to get the gear to go with it and the ride.
No one else going to the orientation? I'm bringing my nephew Hayden. He has been so helpful with fundraising and my number one encourager. Hope to see some of you there. I'll be the one with the ill-advised shaved head and glasses. LOL.
