ps..if there is anyone who would like to share any of their photos of the weekend. Please let me know.
Good for you!!! This was my first year driving a sweep van and it was one of the best experiences of my life to be able to assist riders on there 200+km ride! I have already signed up to volunteer again for next year.
If you are looking for pics and are a member of facebook, please search for the group called RTCC Sweep 2009 and there are some pics there.
Glad it was a great experience for you. As a patient, let me tell you that your being out there really does make a huge difference in the hospital itself, and to all the patients who walk though the doors of PMH.
I'm also a rider, but have seen more than my share as a patient side, and so thanks for doing it all. Your work on our behalf is much appreciated. Cam Campbell
Deanna, I think you were one of the ones who swept me to the 3rd pit stop on day 2. Thank you so very much for being out there for us. You work is greatly appreciated. I was able to rest up my knees and make it all the way to the finish line
Thanks for the facebook group - I tried looking for it, and for some reason could not find it. I will try again.
Cameron - It is with great pleasure that I do the ride and the 60km walk - this all hits home for me and know way too many people who are battling the fight. If I could do more, I would.
