ok I get that most people who do this ride are thin and in shape. But a lot of us are not....
I know a lot of people complained last year about the jerseys being too small... apparently there has been no change. THey are using the same supplier as last year.
So, if you are a plus sized rider, and this is your first time doing the ride... be prepared to have another jersey ready, because chances are really really good that you will not fit into this one.

Apparently there will be a jersey trade in area on the Saturday for those who are unhappy with the fit.
They also used the jersey sizes that you requested from last year - meaning that if it didn't fit last year it won't fit this year. My husband got a replacement jersey mailed to him last year however they did not change the size on his profile so he will once again get a jersey that he can not wear.
Unfortunately, the biggest size is too small for me...
I know that plus sized riders are the exception, but I can't help but wonder, rather than telling people to go a size up (or two) why don't they just try and find a different supplier...
I called the office, and they said the jerseys are donated... I just hope some effort was made to find a supplier with more generous cuts...
I bike regularly, and know from personal purchase experience that jersey fits really very by a LOT... in XXL with one company barely fits over my torso, where as another is generous and comfortable...
I was even told by this volunteer that the jerseys are meant to be souveniers... Yes well I thought they were meant to be worn on the day of. And if so many people complained last year...
It's just hard enough being the larger one in a group... no need to be further excluded by such incredibly small jerseys...

Hmm...I just received mine in the mail today, and I have the opposite problem.
Even though I asked for extra small (XS), I was sent a small jersey. And I am swimming in it!
ADDED: Just spoke with the Ride Office, and Small *is* the smallest. I have been told they will shrink, so I will just give this to my husband to wash...he is an expert at shrinking laundry!!

I've never known a bike jersey to shrink. Good luck.
Agreed! I washed mine and I don't think is shrunk at all. Plus, it's still a little stiff so I'm going to wash it again and again. Hopefully, it'll shrink during this process.
If jerseys are anything like biking shorts, pop it in the dryer for a full cycle. (because of this lesson, I will be wearing VERY short shorts during day one!)
