I was going to book a room also? Had roomy from ( ) last year and actually set up another tent before evening. Not sure yet. Here is what I know. I called the Residences at Mohawk.( 877 225 8664 ) They were offered up last year by the ride, as a ride hotel. It was with in walking distance I believe? The price is $75.00 . I called a few weeks ago, and they said they knew nothing, I called back minutes later because I forgot a number, and was told by another call taker that a block of rooms was on hold for this years ride? BUT they could not release the rooms until OK -ed by the 'ride' . When? I called the ride and they said a couple differant times that they KNOW nothing of the booked rooms, and 3/4 of the guides have given the " we don't even know if we are camping at Mohawk again this year. check 6-8 weeks before. " I keep checking back. It makes it hard to book other than camp. I did get a rate this year of, $75 for a one room suite, 2 people $10 extra for any one over 2. Has micro and mini fridge. Other than that I don't know. Check under google, conquercancer, 2008 ride, travel , and event ride guide, in there you will find hotel list.
Hi I'm 36 and female and would like to hotel it also. I've spoke with a few last year and they suggested to hotel it. So that's what I'll do. I will book a few now and have my husband cancel last minute. I'm willing to share a room.
Hi everybody, I also called Mohawk college and was told that a block of rooms has been set aside for this years ride, but could not release any I was told to watch the web site 8 weeeks before the ride and it should be posted. Once you see it call because they also told me they will go fast, they told me the closest hotel was about a 15 min drive fromt he sight. GOOD LUCK
