This is my first year participating in The Ridesmile and I don't own a road bike.  Does anyone know if there is somewhere to rent a bike? I live in the GTA.

Gears Cycle in Toronto and Mississauga rents bikes and they are also a spomnsor of the event. You may want to give them a call or shoot them an email.

this guy is located in Hamilton but knows his stuff

Met with Kent over Christmas.
He built a bike for my brother in law.
He is a very knowledgeable/experienced road bike/triathlon rider who builds bikes and has some to rent.
Give him a call if you are in the market for a bike, need a tune up or considering renting a bike for the ride.
