*** the Jersey Trade post ***

i figured i might as well try it.

If you've recieved your 2011 RTCC jersey, have NOT used it and would like to trade because of the wrong size discuss with fellow riders here.

i'll start it off.

I have a Men's "XL" size - i'm looking to trade for a Men's "L" size. I'm located downtown Toronto in the Liberty Village / King St. W. area

Call the Ride office, last year they let you trade with them.

thanks, this year they've offered exchanges on the saturday morning at the ride. But we all know how chaotic it is that morning. That said i thought i'd try here.

do you know if they are gender specific?

I have a size L jersey...  I could down size to a medium.

I prefer stuff to fit loosly though.  I know cycling stuff is supposed to fit tight, but I'm not tha into it.

I was also told exchanges would be Saturday morning, but I have done other events and know how long the lines can be...!

Ummmmmmm....

I hate to state the obvious, gang...

If the jerseys fit on the loose side, that means anyone looking to trade will logically want to go DOWN a size, right?
Well, what's the likelihood you're going to find anyone looking to go UP a size to trade with you if all the jerseys fit loose to begin with?

... if you know what I mean.

Mosquitos - I'm not trying to tell you to watch your language or anything, but could you please not use the word "fatso".  I lost 54 lbs to do this ride (so far), but am still at 279 lbs, and I don't think that using that word is very becoming of you.  Just saying.

I just thought that using the word "fatso" was beneath you, that's all.  I deal with being called names every day - I've kinda gotten a thick skin.  I plan on losing another 100-120 lbs, thanks for the encouragement!

I am glad that you all have said the jersey is bigger than last year, as I was about to order up a size (when I reach my goal) but now I think I will just stick to what I ordered last year.  Unfortunatly I too am a bit bigger than last year.  Not enoough training in this crappy weather.
