Now that the traing rides are getting long it's getting a bit lonely out there... Anyone fancy doing a couple of rides together? I would say I'm begginer to intermediate level.
I live just North of High Park and am getting pretty tired of riding alone too. I'm probably in the novice-intermediate category as well so if you want you can email me at mail@liamross.com and we'll see if we can arrange a couple of riding days.
Hi, yeah I heard about your unfortunate accident! It's almost legendary on the message board! I'm actualy right over by high park, but maybe we could meet up and do a section of ride together. Maybe out onto the leslie spit (tommy thompson park) then up the Don Valley or something. What do you think?
Hey I might be up for joining your ride Sunday... I'm an experienced rider but out of practice as the entire last year of my life didn't do much physical activity because of my treatment.
Can you email me the details of your ride? I live close to highpark (junction area)
I also live in the Junction area and would be happy to have company on some of my rides. They can be as long or short as you want. I'll send my contact info to your email address.
Hi mmgirl. The sunday ride was the sunday just gone, but Nidanrider and I are gonna get together for some training over the next month and you'd be more than welcome to join!
Hi great I will check my email! Lets plan a ride this week (or more then one!)
Monday is no good for me I have doctor appointment and treatment at PMH so that will take all day.
I am available- Wednesday afternoon or evening, Thursday afternoon or evening, Friday morning afternoon or evening. ( weekend is the long weekend not sure if I'm in town or not?)
Would any of these times work? I have been doing rides on the humber and lakeshore bike trails through highpark, and my ride to work down dupont (I work part time morning monday tues and thursday).
I like the lakeshore to Tommy Thompson park and the lighthouse, but would probably bring my mountain bike on that ride because if I recall the trail is a bit bumpy?
mmgirl - I'm available Wednesday afternoon (I have a opthomologist's appointment on Thursday, so I won't have very good eyesight that day). Let me know if that will work for you - we won't be able to get into the Spit (too many dump trucks), but we can ride along the beaches, if you'd like. Or find another location to meet up. Let me know.
I can do Wednesday afternoon... funny I found out I have an eye doctor appointment Friday so if they do the eye drops I will not be able to see most of the day either.
I will be working wednesday morning, but my office is downtown at Gerard and Bay. do you have a route you do from your house? I can meet you over in your neck of the woods after work? (will be done by 1pm as I only work part time at the moment!)
I can meet you at the Leslie Street Spit (outside the gates), and then we can ride along the lake to Neville Park and back towards the Spit, I usually then go north along the Lower Don Trail back to home, but we can go up to Edwards Gardens, or Victoria Park, or to Sunnybrook Park. Up to you, I'm open. Let me know.
Hi Jenn, that sounds good, I can meet you at the entrance to Tom Thompson park and we can go along the lakeshore trail... Good Idea to go East, since I live in the west end I haven't ridden there much so it will good for me to check it ou. Is 2pm good? I can probably do a bit earlier too if that's better
Thanks it was a good practice ride into the wind...! grr but the ride home was really fast though :) I'm up for more rides. we have just under a month :O
