Can anyone tell me what the distance may be from the CNE to the Intercontinental Hotel on Front St. I was looking at parking at the CNE friday once I unload my bike and then walk to the hotel while leaving the vehicle there till I return on the train on Sunday, so I can load back up and head home to North Bay.
it is a bit of a hike. You may want to take a cab, or there is a streetcar that runs along Harbourfront from the CNE. Cab is probably your best bet, not too expensive.

Hi, Yvonne. I'm dropping my bike off Friday evening & would gladly give you a lift back to your hotel if that helps you any. We'd have to co-ordinate meeting - email me at susanherbison@yahoo.ca. It would be after 5 or even 6 before I can get down there.
Go to www.ttc.ca and they have a trip planner that you can enter you to and from locations and they will tell you what bus, streetcar, or subway to take. And all ttc costs is $3!
That may be the most inexpensive option. I am staying at the intercontinental as well and I am hopping on the streetcar. I will be staying thursday night and friday night too. Can't wait. Looking forward to seeing you on the weekend.

I was looking up on the ttc site and checking the maps.
You could either take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar and that will go directly to exhibition. Or another way is take the 504 Roncevallance streetcar that goes on king street and you can get on it at king and simcoe street ( about a 4 minute walk from hotel ) then get off at dufferin and then take the 29D dufferin bus and that will take you down to the exhibition.
Or of course like the previous comment, a cab is always an option.
Hopefully this info is helpful.
