What, you don't want to spend an evening in spandex? If you have a T-shirt that were available at the orientations, wear that. You won't look too much like a bike-geek, but it ties you to the cause.
And remember, beer is a good pos-ride recovery drink. In moderation that is (darn it).
It was a bomb. 8 people showed, three ate dessert only. Service was AWFUL. I'll look elsewhere next year's ride. At least, the west end of Hamilton location. We were talking about starving waiting for the wait people. It wasn't busy. Just a heads up on service there. I was shocked by lack of turn out, considering I had 50 people rsvp attending and 25 more possibles, and i thought the service would be better.
