As I'm on a pension and having to pay off a bike and gear, I'm unable to BBQ/sell stuff to raise funds.
I'm floundering but in desperation have decided next week to start going door to door, something I dread. $2,060 left to raise, I'm doing what I have to.
I've had some success YouTubing.

It's long, but it's brought in nearly a hundred in less than 24 hours. I honestly don't know what else to do. I never in a million years thought people would care so little about cancer.

Anyone have any ideas for those of us who don't know a lot of people, our church community shows NO interest, family wants to say we can't do it, etc? I have to raise this money and I'm running out of ideas, but open to anything, i'm that desperate.

I have asked friends to donate gently used items and unwanted items to a garage sale and all profits will go to the ride.  I plan to do this the first weekend in May, that way any students who have stuff that normally they would put out for garbage can donate to me and I will gladly try to sell it.
I used facebook as a place to ask for donations as well as friends, family etc.

Good luck.
