Considering it's still over 6 months away, I think it's incredible! Now all we have to do is raise the money and keep training. Any idea what the percentage is that has chosen the 200 mile ride? I am still undecided.
I did the 200km ride this year and signed up for the 200 mile ride for next year, and just to see how 100 miles in a day felt, i signed up for a 100 mile ride in august for the united way in Oshawa, and i was shocked at how much longer it is - doing two days of that is going to be quite hard.
The ride to hamilton and then to niagara took me about 3- 3.5 hours each day the 100 mile ride took me 7+ hours. the Durham ride was full of many hills (in my opinion - more so than either of the ride to conquer had this year) so perhaps that made a difference.
