Hello Everyone...I am trying to find other people from the London Ontario area that are going to be participating in the 2010 Ride to Conquer Cancer. I have NEVER in my life done this before, but after doing a triathlon this past year I know I can do it. Please reply to this topic if you are from around this area or know anyone who is.
I too am in London and looking for riders to train and or form a team with. Please be in touch. I have done rides the past three summers of 150k for MS but my first time doing this ride. I can be reached at kathyp@alicesaddy.com.
I'm in London. I rode this past year and really enjoyed the event. I've decided that I'm going to do it again for 2010. If you can do a triathlon, you'll be fine with this. There are a lot more hills out there than there are on the MS ride though. The mountain in Hamilton is a killer.
i am from London also, and i am also doing The Ride To Conquer Cancer.... one of my family member is dealing with this whole cancer thing so i am riding for her.... oh and plus i really enjoy spending time on my bike... i have sing up for TRCC as an individual but like the orientation said would be better if i trained in a group so i am looking for people to trained with if you are interested send me an email alex.x.martinez@hotmail.com thankz
Hi Jen: I'm in London as well and have registered for the event. this is my first time out. i would love to connect with fellow riders in the london area. connect with me at loretta@genesis-em.com cheers
Would love to connect and see from other posts that are more riders in London. Perhaps we can set up a group and begin training. I am doing spin classes twice a week and indoor trainer on my bike twice a week and as soon as possible will be outdoors.
My Team "Be the Change" is having a party on March 27th at the London Music Hall Lounge, doors open at 7 PM. We've got the local band, Metro4 (who played at Bayfest) lined up to play, along with a live DJ, silent auction, cash bar and tons of door prizes.
If anyone is interested in coming out to meet other bikers and folks from the London area, please let me know.
Tickets are $15 and include a chance for a door raffle. Email me if you would like tickets or more info at inukshukgyrl@hotmail.com
Also, if anyone is a GoodLife member, the new Southdale club is open, has great new Spin Bikes and a nice schedule with lots of riding and opportunites to do back to back evening classes (5:30 & 6:30 PM). Come on out and check it out.
I too am riding in the RTCC for the first time this year. I am currently training at the athletic club. Definitely interested in participating in outdoor rides with fellow riders as soon as the weather permits.
Hi: Great, looks like there are three or four of us on our own and it would be great to train as a group. I am wondering if we should try and form a team to motivate each other during the ride. I am happy to set this up, let me know what you think. Kathy
Hi Loretta: Are you still looking for a training partner or group? I am considering setting up a ride schedule once the weather turns a bit warmer and would welcom any participation. Kathy

I am hosting a yard sale on Saturday as a fundraiser and have family plans on Sunday. How about the weekend after long weekend, either Saturday or Sunday weather permitting.
