I know there is a special thread for fundraising tips, but no one goes there so I'm posting my idea here.
I started selling pieces of my jersey to corporate sponsors and have had some good luck so far. I'll be posting their logos on my jersey so if you see me at the ride, I'll look like the human Nascar.
Here are my sponsors so far (I've committed to announcing them here as apart of the sponsor package).
If you would like to see my proposal and use it, I'll gladly share to help you raise more money...just send me an email at susanlyngrant@yahoo.com.
Happy Fundraising!

Hey, That is an excellent idea. Check out the Team Hammerhead web page: all of the logos appearing on our picture are businesses which sponsored our team in exchange for advertising on our team jerseys. You will see us out there. We will be wearing those jerseys on day 2. It would be great to get together on price points etc, to avoid low bids for ad space on jerseys, for future events. Anyone care to share experiences with this fundraising concept? Ours was very successful. Cheers!!

We will have a team of three next year, and although I have pariticipated in this type of fundraising (raising $2000+) my team mates haven't and are nervous!
This sounds like a great idea to get each on eof us partially covered off... Cool!
I do agree though, perhaps we should establish a price point... $500 for logo? I mean, if you think about it, your back will be visisible and noticed by thousands of people for hours on end...
