This is an idea that requires work but is a good team fundraiser.
Rent an aerator form HD or rental agency. Travel neighborhoods and offer a free lawn aeration for a minimum 40 dollar donation.
People are paying to have it done this time of year anyways so the benefit to them is a worthy cause and a tax receipt!
I helped a friend with this last weekend and in one day made over $500.
